Family Strengthening

We provide in-home intensive support, skill building and crisis intervention that increase family health. Many families served through this program parent children with severe emotional or behavioral disorders.

Hope Center for Children is a certified sponsor site in the Teaching-Family Model, an evidence-based program that is proven to lead to positive behavioral changes for children and adults. The Teaching-Family Model is used in our Family Strengthening program, with staff teaching and modeling sustainable life skills and thoughtful behaviors to children and parents.

The Family Strengthening program also uses the evidence-based Triple P - Positive Parenting Program, giving parents simple and effective strategies to help them build strong, healthy relationships with their children and manage behavioral problems. Triple P is used during our in-home services and in our new group education classes. The group setting provides opportunities for parents to practice the skills and to form additional supportive relationships with fellow parents! For information on the group education classes, contact Dallys Sims at (864) 706-6119.
