Child Abuse Prevention Month

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month! Hope Center for Children is partnering with S.C. Children's Trust to spread the word that child abuse is preventable. Every person can play a part in protecting children and making Spartanburg a healthier, happier place for children to thrive. Check out these prevention resources at S.C. Children's Trust, which is home to Prevent Child Abuse South Carolina.

The blue pinwheel represents healthy, happy childhoods. As part of Child Abuse Prevention Month, join us in participating in Pinwheels for Prevention to promote the protective factors every family can adopt and every community can contribute to that help keep children safe and secure. If you would like to plant a pinwheel garden at your business, agency, place of worship, etc. to show your support and help spread awareness, please contact Susan Ledford at (864) 583-7688 ext. 132 or susanl@hopecfc.org. A limited number of pinwheels are available at no charge thanks to Spartanburg County First Steps.
